Rebuilt Mason & Hamlin Grand (Model A)

SERIAL NUMBER #28635 1920   5' 8" Long

Mint Condition, Rebuilt and Refinished:   This is a Mason and Hamlin Model A, 5 foot 8 inch Grand.  The piano is Refinished Red Mahogany, it is 1920 vintage.   It looks great, and sounds great. Many professional musicians prefer a vintage Mason and Hamlin above Steinway

REBUILD HISTORY: This piano is refinished, and comes with a matching bench.   We recently put in a soundboard, new pinblock, restrung the piano and rebronzed the plate.   We also recapped the keys, rebushed the keys, and put new hammers, hammer shanks, flanges and knuckles.   The piano has been regulated and tuned over 8 times. It is as good as a new piano. The Ancott Associates Average Suggested Retail price for this piano would be around $42,000.00. The sound of this vintage rebuilt piano is as good, if not better than new.   We have included sound bytes that you can download below to hear the tonal quality of the instrument.

SHIPPING:  Buyer is solely responsible to pay for shipping fees. We can arrange delivery anywhere in the continental United States.   If you live in Eastern USA, we probably would be able to deliver this piano for $200.00 to $595.00 depending on where you live.   Email me for an exact quote.   If buyer is close enough and chooses to have us deliver this piano, then shipping charges and expenses must be paid in full before delivery and the balance can be paid in cash at delivery.   In this case the delivery charge is non-refundable but I will allow the buyer the freedom to refuse the instrument only if upon delivery you feel the instrument is not what we represented it to be.   In this case, the delivery charge will not be refunded. Once you accept delivery the sale is final.  If a long distance carrier is used the the instrument must be paid in full before delivery and sale is final with no refunds.   I accept all major credit cards through paypal, checks, money orders, certified checks or, (cash on delivery).  All checks must clear before instrument is shipped. A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT OUR SOUND BYTES AND PICTURES:  The sound bytes were recorded straight into a soundblaster card in mono without any effects. We have included the chromatic Scale so you can hear all 88 notes in sequence, we recorded some simple arpeggios, so you can hear the overtones, and sustain through out the harmonic range of the piano, we recorded two songs in every harmonic area of the piano so you can hear the tonal quality of the high treble, treble, Mid range, tenor and bass areas of the instrument. Included are pictures from every angle of the piano and also we included photos of the new hammers and misc new action parts.
